Half-bred and cross-bred wools were decidedly easier thau at the first sale, and a good quantity was passed in. There was very keen bidding fof merino wool, and it brought quite U higher than at the last sale. SoouriDg wooh (piecep, etc.) eold very well; half-bred sold up to 12M : crosa-bred, KHd; three-quarter-bred, merino, 13|d ; scoured, lSd ; merino pieces, 10£ 1; bellies, 9d;. locks, 4d. The catalogue was the largest ever offered, with the exception of 1894.
