READ WHAT EMINENT PHYSICIANS SAY ABOUT CASTANA. mHIS TROUBLESOME COMPLAINT, JL which gives children's systems such a racking, especially if they are at all weakly, is quite amenable to treatment if the proper remedy is admiui.4e.rcd. One of the best, if not the best, is CASTANA VESCA. Dr E. M. Hale, in lib: latest work, 'Therapeutics of the New Remedies,' speaks of Castana as follows:—"I found in all cases that it would in from four to ten days relieve the spasms of whooping cough, and in about two weeks cure it. The "little sufferers would whoop no more, nnd go on to a speedy recovery, to the great delight of myself and their friends." Since writing the above, Dr Hale says: " I have seen Dr Davis's report in the Philadelphia ' Medical Times.' Dr Davis made a careful study of the effects of Castana in whooping cough in the local hospital. Fifteen children were selected, all with severe paroxysms and the characteristic whoop. They had been taking other drugs, but were left without medicine for two days, during which time the paroxysms increased in frequency and severity. After being treated with Castana, a dose being given every three hours, the paroxysms decreased rapidly, so that on the fifth day none occurred except in three cases. The nurse in charge, who had witnessed many epidemics of the disease, declared she had never seen a medicine act like it."

Dr liodenstein, of New York, reported eight cases of whooping cough treated with Castana. The average duration of these cases was three weeks, during which time the children took the remedy four times a day. Several other physicians state that they had used the same remedy with gratifying: results. DON'T FAIL TO TRY CASTANA IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE SUFFERING FROM WHOOPING COUGH. IT WILL SAVE THEM DAYS OF SUFFERING. Sold "in Bottles, price 2s, AT MARSHALL'S PHARMACY. LA GRIPPE, OR RUSSIAN INFLUENZA. Nothing is more astonishing than the rapidity with which the Grippe travels over the country and assails people at different times and under different circumstances. It seems to delight in rainy, muggy weather, and when it lias run its course it leaves the patient a prey to a vast number of maladies, unless remedies are taken at the commencement of the symptoms which are powerful enough to eradicate the Grippe poison. We claim that our Mixtures No. 1 and No. 2 will, if taken early, euro all the severe symptoms of an attack of Influenza in a very short time, and the patient will make a rapid recovery as compared with those that neglect to take proper measures to eradicate the poison from their systems. WHEN YOU HAVE INFLUENZA You Want the very BEST MEDICINE IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET. Influenza is not to be trifled with. It can make you feel very ill, and there is no doubt that you are ill when you have an attack of this dread disease. » There has never been a remedy put on the market that has had such a large sale and been so successful in curing Influenza as MARSHALL'S MIXTURES, Nos. 1 AND 2. They are without doubt specifics for it, and if you feel an attack coming on, procure them without delay, and you will be saved a lot of suffering. These Mixtures are specially prepared fpr Influenza, and are made to suit the varied symptoms of each epidemic. No. 1 controls all the feverish symptoms and severe body pains; while sickness, headache, and the latter stages of the complaint disappear in a marvellously short space of time when the No. 2 Mixture is taken in alternation with the firstmentioned. The cures are rapid when these medicines are administered, and usually there are no lingering after effects. Children in delirium, with pulse, over 100, and racked with pain, will, after a few doses of these remedies, rapidly improve. There is nothing to equal the rapidity with which these Mfxtures act. We are constantly receiving testimonials as to the beneficial action of these remedies. If you have "LA GRIPPE" send at once and get two bottles, and give alternately, as directed on the labels. If taken occasionally by those living in the house where there are Influenza patients, it will frequently prevent ah attack, or, if attacked, it will be much lessened in severity.
