WELLINGTON, October 21. Bills Passed.

At this morning's sitting of the House the following Bills were put through their final stages :—Government Loans to Looal Bodies Act Amendment, Government Life Innurance Act Amendment, Railways Authorisation, Land Tax and Income Tax Amendment.

The House considered the Mining Act Amendment Bill in committee. A proposal by Mr B. M'Kenzie to reduce the miner**' right fee to five shillings- was lost by 28 to 25.
