The Dmgadee, having discharged the balance of her cargo of coals at the George street pier, sailed yesterday evening for Greymouth. J ho Te Anau, having been cleaned and painted, was floated out of the graving dock this morning, and steamed up to Dunedin to take in cargo for Northern ports. The following vessels have been at the Dunedin wharves during the past week: Arrived: Rmm 143 tons, Elingaimte 1,675, Napier 48 Trtnpo 408, Mokoia 2,153, Te Anau 1,028; total! 5 4»5 tons. Sailed: Monowai 2.137 tons, Uimu 143, Elingamite 1,675, Napier 48, Mokoia 2.153. Taupe 408; total, 6,564 tons.
ACCIDENT TO THE KAWATIRI
Launceston, May 13.—The steamer Kawatiri, whi e leaving Strahan, struck at the entrance to the harbor, and had to return. It was found that she bad started the end of one of the butts of the hold. Repairshaving been temporarily effected, the Kawatiri resumed her trip.
