MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
There was a large attendance of members at the last meeting of Linden Lodge, 1.0.0. F., held in their hall, Roslyn. The G.M. (Bro. Crichton) and G.T. (Bro. J. A. Alexander), accompanied by D.D.G.M. Bro. Pattison, paid an official visit, and received a hearty welcome from N.G. Bro. Melrose, who occupied the chair. Official visits were also received from the newly-formed Owaka Lodge (Catlins) and Leith Lodge. The G.M. (in responding to the toast) gave a short outline of the work done at the recent session at Temuka, and hoped the Order would go on progressing. N.G. Bro. Ovens responded on behalf of Owaka and N.G. Bro. 0 M’Peak on behalf of Leith. Songs and recitations were given by several of the'brothers, and all spent a very enjoyable meeting.
