Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to any necessary •Iterations), as under >*• Overland, North, daily, 10.20 a.m. Late let* ters, 10.45; also on the mail van up to 11 a.m. Books and newspapers, 10 a.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage—ld for inland letters, 2d for letters for Australia and the South Sea Islands, and Sid for ail other places. Monday, April 10. For Southland, Australian Colonies (via Hobart), Iclis, China, Straits Settlement, Mediteranneon pcrts, South Africa, Continent of Europe, and Unite! Kingdom, etc Per Waikare, at 2 p.m. Ifoney orders, registered letters, books, and newspapers at 1 p.m. A supplementary mail will close at 3.30 p.m. (overland, to connect with the Waikare at the Bluff). Due in London on May 23. Thursday, April 13, For Northern PorU and Australian Colonies (except Tasmania).— Per Tarawera, at 3 p.m. Friday, April 14. For Lyttelton and Christchurcb.—Per Te Anau, at 2 p.m. Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti, per Qvalau, will close at Auckland on the 11th. at 4 p.m. Mails for South Africa, per Moravian, from Melbourne, 19th April. Mails for Fiji, per Upolu, will close at Auckland on the 26th, at 4 p.m. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Taviuni, will close at Auckland on the 3rd May, at 4 p-m. Mails for South Africa, per will Close at Melbourne, sth May.
