RAVENSBOURNE SWIMMING TOURNAMENT.
A meeting of the above Committee was held in the boatshed last night, Mr Harridge in the ehair, and there being a large attendance. The several committees reported everything in a forward state. It was also decided to procure a band. Mr Mitchell will make an attempt to break the New Zealand under - water swimming record. The various officials for the day were appointed, and it was decided that no trainers of the various swimmers be allowed in the dressing shed. There are la all fifteen events on the programme, which is published in this issue, bo there will be no fear of the show lagging. All the races will be started sharp to time, eo the competitors will have to see they are ready for their events. The Regatta Committee have aleo decided to sail the local Challege Cup Race off the same day, starting exactly in front of the baths, and this should prove an addi» tiop&l attrition,.
