In the course of an application for a receiver in Tyson's estate it Was stated that the estate had been sworn at over two millions sterling. HOB ART, December 17.
The Southern Cross sailed to-day for the Antarctic. Mr Borchgrevinck and party placed a wreath on Sir John Franklin's statue.
MELBOURNE, December 17.
The damage to the Mahinapua is less than was first supposed. Her injuries balow tho water line are very slight; and tho cargo was not damaged.
