The amount of revenue collected at the Customhouse on eoivts cleared for consumption to day was £937 5s 3d. Auckland, November 18.—The successful flotation of the Riverhead paper mills is assured. The manager leaves Wellington for London on December 8 to secure the necessary machinery. MINING NOTES. Mr Reeves reports a return from the Cromwell Proorietary geld mine of Mioz 17dwt of retorted gold from a crushing of 522 tons quartz. The gold was lodged in the Bank at Cromwell to-day.
