We hold over the letter i l the meantime. , John We r.— You are, of course, entitled to have an interpretation of your ovYn of the Shops and Shop Assistants Act, but that which'the public interested prefer to adopt is the official one, as put forward by the magistrates and judges, whose duty it is to interpret and give effect to the will of the Legislature.
