The following weights have been declared for the Curragh Steepleohase, of 200 sovs : Liberator 11.9, Clarence 11.8, Kuku 11 8, Dnndonald 11.3, Stanley 10 5, Powder Monkey 9.9, Typhoon 9.7.
A Sydney cable reoeived to-day state* that Mr Victor Foy's stables at Parkes wer« burned, the racehorses Whist and Never Tirt being roasted to death, Miss P. Gibson (101) was the highest scorer in the last monthly competition fir the ladies' golf monthly medal, Mrs Fergns coming next with 104. The third Tuesday medal was won Mrs Pim with a score of 81 for 12 holes. Toe D.J.C. spring meeting will be held on Friday and Saturday next, the first lace starting on each day at 1 p.m.
