QUAOKBRY. IHERE are some of the medical faculty and others of a non-pro-gressive mind who write or cry down any system of medicine but the orthodox allopathic under the above heading. No doubt the doctors know a good deal, but it takes all men to know everything —the most humble peasant knows what the learned professsor may be ignorant of. This is especially true of Medicine, as some of our valuable Herbal Medicines have been brought to luht by unlettered students of nature—the useful Bitter Tonic Vermifuge, etc. Quasi* was discovered as a medicine by a negro of that name. The American Indiana are well up in the properties and uses of their balm herbs. Time tries all things, and systems that are worthless sooner or later fail; that which is true and good laßts. This fact proves that our botanio system of medicine is valuable ; in fact, it is the only one mentioned in the Bible. It is now close on twenty-five years since we started our business, and it has grown with time. One reason is that we have conducted it on sound liberal principles not charging extortionate prices for our goods cr time. We have Bpent a reasonable amount of our profits in advertising, but never, to our knowledge, published a falsehood. We have known of marvellous cures, but have not bothered people for testimonials.
