TWO THROATS CUT.

Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.

BRISBANE, September 10. (Received September 10,1898, at 10.23 a.m.)

The bodies of Fred Johnson and Mary Gray were found with their throats cut at Petrie, terrace. The police were informed of the tragedy by a man named Foote, with whom Gray had been living for some time. Johnson, with whom she bad previously lived, accompanied her home on the previous night, and Foote left them together. When he returned he discovered them dead. The indications are that Johnson cut the woman’s throat and then his own. Jealousy is supposed to be the cause.
