The keeper of a street coffee stall was summoned before a London magistrate, at the instance of a neighboring publican, for causing an obstruction. The accused said the publican complained because men going to work in the early morniug drank coffee it the stall instead of beer at his house. The magistrate, in dismissing the summons, said it was a preposterous case. Some of our first class cruisers carry enough ooal to take them 20,000 miles, steaming at ten knots.
