WILLIAMS’S PINK PILLS FOR PALE Effect CUBES in GASES Regarded as HOPELESS by Hospitals and Medical Men. They Dure 4N/EMIA, NEURALGIA, ST. VITUS’S DANCE, RHEUMATISM, LOCOMOTOR ATAXIA, Etc., Etc. ST. VITUS’S DANCE CUBED BY DR WILLIAMS’S PINK PILLS FOR PALE PEOPLE. A LAD WHOSE SUFFERINGS WERE TERRIBLE TO WITNESS. Irrefutable testimony of a MISSIONARY’S WIFE. "Lake Condah, October 11th, 1897. "The Dr Williams Medicine Co., Sydney. ''Sire*— { have much pleasure in statins that Dr Williams’s Pink Pills have cured a bad case o£ St. Vitus’s Dance on our station. “ Willie Lovett, a lad seventeen years of age, was attacked with the disease in question about Wo and a-balf years ago. He was prescribed for by several doctors, but grew steadily worse. The whole of the tight side, from the head down to the feet, was affected. He could neither dress nor feed himself, and his limbs and face were constantly twitching in a manner distressing to see, both night and Jay. He could get no proper'rest. The pockets of his suits were all torn down the right side, owing to the involuntary convulsive movements made by bis hand when he pat it into them. The last doctor who attended him told his friends they would have to bo very careful that the lad should not get a fright, or be hastily spoken to, as if that happened be. might fall down dead, his brain was in such a bad slate. Seeing accounts of several cases of cures of St. Vitus’s Dance in your little pamphlet which was sent to me, I wrote to Sydney for six boxes of Dr Williams’s Pink Pills, and the lad commenced taking them according to directions. “ By thw time he had taken three boxes he was so much improved as to be able to feed himself, to wash and dress himself, and even to lace his own boots, a thing he had not done for a very long time before. When ho had finished the sis boxes he was perfectly cured, and looked quite a different boy. "For over four months he has been out in a'l sorts of weather rabbit-trapping with his father, can use his pen, and chop wood, carry heavy buckets of water, and, in fact, do any kind of rough work. Just at present lie is away from here working as a woolrpicker in a large shed in the Western District, where his father is engaged as a shearer. “I give you this unsolicited testimony, not for the purpose of extending the sale of Pink Pills, but in order that other sufferers from the same disease, of whom there are doubtless many in the colony, may, perhaps, try them, and receive similar benefit to what this lad has got through their use. ' “I am quite willing to reply to any inquiries as to the genuineness of this case, and you are at liberty to make what use you please of my testimony. "1 1 ra, Sirs, yours truly, "M. STABLE.” “To the Dr Williams Medicine Co., Sydney. "Sira,— “ I have asked Mrs Stable, our Missionary’s READ THE TRUE wife, to inform you of the good Dr Williams’s Pink Pills have done our son Willie. Every word of what this lady has so kindly written is perfectly true, and I can assure you I am thank- i ful to God for curing my boy through their means, for we were afraid he would never get better, as all other medicines seemed to give him no relief at all. He was suffering for over two years. 11 1 am, Sirs, yours gratefully, "(Mrs) HANNAH LOVETT.” RELENTLESS ANiEMIA. ITS DEVASTATIONS. CURED, BEYOND DOUBT. [From the * Tarrangower Times,’ Maldon, Victoria.] Mrs John Bo we assured our reporter that she would have no hesitation in speaking as she felt in reference to Dr Williams’s Pink Pills, as it was only just that the manufacturer should get the credit he deserves. When asked about her daughter’s illness, Mrs Bowe, said : “ Miss May had been strong and healthy until about two years ago, when she grew very pale and thin. She had a wretched appetite, and got very little sleep at nights. Being of a wonderfully active and cheerful disposition before this sudden change took place, we became somewhat alarmed, REPORT OF THE FOLLOWING CURES EFFECTED: A : her, and again obtained medical advice as to the .; advisability of taking her away for a complete , change, as _we thought she was rapidly sinking into a decline. Medicine was again prescribed, but it produced no good effects. By this time and medical aid was sought, bat with no appreciable good effects. Several bottles of medicine were taken, but she appeared to grow weaker and more listless every day. The doctor said she was suffering from poorness of blood. We then became seriously alarmed, and consulted different medical men, who prescribed, and told Miss May to take as much exercise as possible in the flower gdrden,' But though hitherto passionately fond of flowers, and in the habit of spending whole afternoons in training and arranging the flowers in the garden, she had to abandoirthe work, as the least exertion exhausted her, and often when 1 thought she was out taking exercise in'the fresh air I. had. entered the drawing room, and found her with her head resting in her hands, and in a somnolent state. Then, when disturbed, she would steal quietly to hor room, and remain there for hours at a. time. This was so unusual and totally out of keeping with her light, winning, and cheerful nature that we became extremely anxious about M v Miss May’s face was extremely pale, and she was so thin and weak, that the slightest exertion lired her, and at night she suffered severe cramps in her legs. Friends then recommended . patent medicines, and I tried two or three kinds, ! but with no good results. At last I made up ■ my mind to take her away to some other part i of the colony fora change, but before doing so I saw in the ‘ Tarrangower Times ’ an advertisement about Dr Williams’s Pink Pills, and noticj ing that people with symptoms similar to those I of my daughter had been cured, I determined Ito give them a trial. After using half a box of Dr Williams’s Pink Pills we noticed a great I improvement In Miss May, and after using three boxes she was so strong and well, with a good appetite, and able to sleep with comfort, that we considered there was no necessity for her continuing to take Dr Williams’s Pink Pills. So sho discontinued them.” " And do you really think her great and remarkable improvement is due to the use of Dr Williams’s Pink Pills for Pale People! ” “ Yes, I honestly do,” said Mrs Bowe; and concluded by saying that she felt very grateful to Dr Williams for the great good derived by her daughter after using the pills, and would like to have the case made known. It might induce others, who suffered, as Miss May had done daring the past two years, to use Dr Williams’s Fink Fills for Pale People, and thus perhaps bring happiness and sunshine into the lives that are now rendered almost insupportable by and oppression. 'Other members of the family corroborated Mrs Bowe’s remarks, and after thanking; the Indies for the kind manner in which-the pressman had been received, and the unreserved manner in which particulars bad been gi fen, the interview closed. Miss May Bowe has a wide circle of friends in Maldon, and pleasure has been expressed on all sides that this charming young lady is again enjoying good health, and able to take part in local social gatherings.
