The statement is officially made that the head ; of every municipality in Ireland to which the Dahlia Committee made an allotment accepted the Australian Jubilee gift of meat, and that it was delivered in excelleut condition, and survived an attempt at' hostile criticism. It is added that it would be Bimply false to state that any head of a municipal body to which the gift was offered refused to accept it. Ladies or gentlemen suffering from weak or falling hair should consult A. M. Hendy, hairdreiser, etc., Princes street (opposite Bank of New Zealand), Nine years' London experience. ■wJADTT,]
