The following is a list of the awards of the Royal Humane Society of Australasia granted in New Zealand during the past year;— SILVER MEDALS. Robert Oliphant (Auckland). Rescue from drowning. Henry Giles (Cambridge),—Rescue from fire. BRONZE MEDALS. ' William Mehalfey (Queenstown) and George Hill (Devonport).—Rescues from drowning. John Gauntlett (Wellington) and John Hunt (New Brighton).—Attempted rescues from drowning. CERTIFICATES OF MERIT. T. C. Moyle (Auckland), John Singleton (Wellington), Jand W. H. Williams (Wellington),— Rescues from drowning.
