Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to any necessary alterations), os under:— Overland. North, daily, 10.30 a.m. Late letters, mail van, 11 a.m. Tuesday. August Si. For Lyttelton, Christchurch, and Northern Ports —Per Tarawera, at 1.15 p.m. Late letters, C.P.0., at 1.25 p.m. Wednesday. August 23. For Lyttelton, Christchurch, Northern Ports! New South Wales, and Queensland.—Per Waikare, at 1.13 p.m. Late letters, C.P.0., at 1.25 p.m. For Southland, Australian Colonies (via Hobart), India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, South Africa, Mediterranean Ports, Continent of Europe. United Kingdom, etc. —Per Wakatipu, at 2.15 p.m. Money orders (for Australian Colonies only), registered letters, books, and newspapers, at 1.15 p.m. Late letters, C.P.0., at 2.25 p.m. Parcels post mails for the Australian Colonies will close at 3 p.m. on the 2ith. A supplementary mail will be made up at 3.30 p.m. (overland, to connect with the Wakatipu at the Bluff). Letters for the United Kingdom must be specially addressed. Friday. August 27. For Lyttelton and Christchurch.—Per Te Anau, at 2.15 p.m. Late letters, C.P.0., at 2.25 p.m. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Tavluni, will close at Auckland on the 25th inst., at 4 o.m.
