The ‘ Australian Star ’ office in Sydney, recently destroyed by fire, was a splendid new building, having been completed only about eighteen months ago. It was equipped with new machinery, and all the requisites of an up-to-date printing office, including the linotype composition machines. The paper is owned by a Sydney company, and had become established as one of the substantial daily newspapers of the city.
