VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.

B Battery N.Z. Artillery Volunteers held their usual weekly parade last Wednesday, when there was an excellent muster, only three men being absent. The right division was put through a useful course of squad drill by their N.C. officers, whilst the left division was instructed in musketry by Staff-sergeant Instructor Towler, and made good progress. As C Battery (Titnaru) has now been formed into a rifle corps, the local butery will probably receive two more guns shortly, which will necessitate an addition to their strength, and the officer commanding' will be glad to receive the names of any men desirous'of joining.
