THE FOOTBALLERS IN TROUBLE.

[Special to the Star.]

WELLINGTON, August 13. The inquiry into charge? of ftiisconduct against two of the Wellington representatives of the New Zealand team (Calnan and Roberts) will come on for hearing this evening, so that if the complaints are disproved the men will be able to play in the final match for the senior shield to-morrow and in the contest against Auckland on the following Saturday. In the event of the charges being substantiated against any of the players complained of it is probable that the punishment will be severe, involving disqualification for Borne years, if not for life.
