A meeting of the General Committee was held in Wain's Hotel last night, when it was decided that the Otago team should leave for Christchurch by Tuesday's express. CAVERSHAM CLUB. This club having paid an amount on behalf of two ex-members of the old Warehousemen's Club under protest, it was decided to instruct the Cup Committee to make full inquiries into the matter and to report to the General Committee. A COMPLAINT. It having come under the notice of the Association that many of the junior cup matches have of late not been commenced until long after the prescribed time of starting, it was decided in the meantime, while not wishing to take severe measures, to call upon players to be more punctual. The opinion was expressed that captains should insist upon punctuality, and those who play the game for what it is worth should take the field with half a team rather than keep the other side waiting. FINANCIAL. The secretary reported that the bank account was in credit £156 5s 6d.
