The Talune steamed down to Port Chalmers this morning, and left in the afternoon for Melbourne via the Bluff and Hobart. The brigantine Enterprise is loading at the Dunediu wharf for Napier. The barque Phyllis is landing her cargo in good order at the cross wharf. During the week ended December 12 the following vessels had been attheDunedin wharves: —Arrivals: Enterprise 84 tons, Wakatipu 1,258, Omapere 352 (twice), Te Anau 1,028, Napier 48, Phyllis 932, Talune 1,303, ''. homas and Henry 212, Waihora 1,209 ; total, 0,838 tons. Departures : Elinor Nernon 5J5 tons, Tarawera 1,269, Matatua 2,190, luvercargill 123, Tasmania 1,25b', Wakatipu 1,258, Omapere 352, Te Anau 1,1)28, Napier 48, Landseer 1,318 tons ; total, 9,417 tons. The Waihora, from Sydney via the East Coast, reached Dunedin at 8.30 a.m. yesterday. She left the Union Steam Ship Company's wharf at Sydney at (j.7 p.m. on the 2nd inst. ; breasted the Three Kings on the tith inst. at 5.15 p.m., and arrived at Auckland on the 7th at 3.45 p.m. ; left again on the Bth at 3 p.m., and called at Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, and Lyttelton, leaving the latter port at 3.20 p.m. on the 12th, and arriving as above. She experienced light and moderate winds and line weather throughout the passage. The luvercargill passed the Heads bound north at noon yesterday.
The Ohuu, coal laden from Westport, arrived at 1.10 p.m. yesterday, and steamed aloiieside the Bowen pier in readiness to discharge her cargo of coal into the hulks. She left Westport at 2 a.m. on the 11th in-L, and had variable winds to arrival.
The Herald, coal laden from Greymoutli, arrived alongside the Bowen pier at 5 p.m. yesterday, and commenced this morning to discharge a quantity of timber. She left Greymouth at 1.30 a in. on the 11th inst.
The R.M.S. Rimutaka left the George street pier at 8 a.m. yesterday for London via Lyttelton and Wellington with the following cargo from this port:—l2 bales wool, 43 do rabbitskins, 5 do. leather, 1 do hair, 3 cases sundries, 2,148 cases cheese, and 1,911 boxes butter.
Tiie ship Westland has made a good start with her loading for London, having now on board 821 bales wool. The Kotokino, from Sydney via Lyttelton, Timaru, and Oamaru, arrived alongside the George street pier at 1.00p.m, to-day to discharge thirtysix piles and some transhipments to the Taluive. She left Oamaru at 7.30 a.m. to-day. SHIRE LIME STEAMERS. Messrs Turubtill, Martin, and Co. have cable advice of the arrival of the s.s. Buteshire (Wellington, "4th October) at Las I'almas, Canary Islands, on the Slth instant. MOVEMENTS OF UNION S.S. COMPANY'S FLEE I'. Monday, December 14.
