The Invercargill left the Rattray street wharf this afternoon for Preservation inlet via Invercargill. The Rotomahana left the tongue wharf this afternoon with cargo and.passeugers for Sydney via the East Coast ports. The Rotokino, with a cargo of coal from Newcastle, arrived alongside .the Bowen pier at 7 p.m. yesterday, and commenced this morning to discharge into the.hulks She,left Newcastle,at midnight on the 23rd inst., had westerly winds and moderate weather across, passed the Bluff at 5 a.m. on the 28th, and the Nuggets at 11 a.m., arriving as above. The Taranaki, with a full cargo of wool, was towed clear of the Heads by the Plucky this morning and sailed for London. The torpedo boat made a run up from Port Chalmers and back this forenoon. The ship Lake Superior is expected to sail tomorrow for London. The ship Pleione has commenced to take on board cargo for London. The Maniari up to 1 p.m. to-day had put out nearly 1,000 tons of cargo into the railway trucks at the George street pier. She will discharge the balance of her cargo for this port at Dunedin. Passengers per s.s. Tongariro, from London, leave Wellington for Dunedin to-morrow by the Mararoa. MOVEMENTS OF UNION S.S. COMPANY'S FLEET. Wednesday, January 29.
