FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.
For some time past the.Reobabite Order in Dunedin have had under consideration the advisability of starting a juvenile branch of tho-Order here, and about a fortnight ago a meeting was held for. the purpose of forming the new tent, Which got into working oraer on Monday last, when the first batch of .thirty-five initiated. A considerable amount of enthusiasm was thrown into’ the Inovement both by the young people and members of cbe adult tent who were present. D.C.R. Bro. W. R. Cole and instructed the young people in thefr duties.' Bro. A. T. MTndoe, /6ne of the superintendents, also gave them adyioe and oonn’M. it was decided to call the new tent the \Primrose Tent,” and the first officers electedvwere:—C.R., Bro. R. Fleming (son of one bribe oldest members of the adult tent); D.R., Br?. .King; secretary, Bro, 0; E. Qole fson* of ; the D.C.8.); stewards—Sisters. South and Capstick ; levite, Bro. (3a(Wy ß ; 1.G., Bro. . Dyer; with Bisi A. T. M'lndoe and W. H. Johnston as superintendents. .
