Anderson (four for SI), Crawshaw (two for 15), Ritchie (two for 41), and Turnbull (one for 8) were the successful bowlers. In twenty minutes’ batting the Albion scored 30 for two wickets. TO W.G. Wc were young when we learnt there were Graces three. But the Muses, alas, were nine ; Ami the Hours are twelve, so it's easy to Soe The way that they drew the line. Three horn's misspent oh a foolish muse For every hour We played, Though the shthmer sun gave scant excuse For neglect of the willow blade. Now the days of the Graces are gone, and we Meet cares that are nine times nine ; But we still may rise to a three times three For a Gra;e that defies decline. » Anon.
