HUSSARS IN CAMP.

The Dunedin section of the Otago Hussars pitched camp at Tahuna Park at four o'clock this afternoon, Captain Robin in command. The Taieri and Waikouaiti contingents were expected to arrive an hour later, and it is estimated that the total muster will be over sixty men. A week will be spent in camp, and the work is to consist mainly of reconnoitring and outpost duty, a front of about a couple of miles being reconnoitred and outposts formed with the various adjuncts and connecting outposts, signal stations, etc All these movements will be carried on under service conditions and in marching order To complete their equipment for marching order the troop have recently been supplied with 'water bottles of the most approved pattern. The experience of the week's encampment will doubtless add to the efficiency of this already well-disciplined corps.
