LONDON ASSURANCE.

This camedy, which is admittedly the oest of Dion Bouoioault's works, will be produced at the' Princess's Theatre on Friday and Saturday next by the Roseius Amateur Dramatic Society. The dialogue of the play, as everyone knows, is a model of brightness, the plot is an easy one to follow,, and the situations are extremely interesting. There is plenty of scope for acting, and previous performances by this sooiety were distinctly promising. A novel feature of this representation" will bo that the character of Dazzle/will be portrayed as "TheO'Dssle," an Irish adventurer, who, by a quick tongue and ready wit, imposes himself for a time on society. This innovation is based, on the fact that in the original scrip this was written as an Irish character part, and intended to be played bv Eoucicault himself.
