MINNIE DEAN.
[Special to the Stab.]
WELLINGTON, July 3. So far ueither the Crown law officers nor the Attorney-General have received the slightest intimation of the appeal in Mrs Dean's case, which, telegrams stated a week ago,was being moved for by the condemned convict's counsel. Sir P. Buckley personally is absolutely averse to. capital punishment, but of course his personal feelings will not deter him from advising the Government on the law point involved.
