It is currently .reported at Suva that a company with a capital of £30,000 will be formed at. Sydney for extracting oil from copra at Vuna Point.
A horrible murder is reported from one of the Fijian districts, ali Indian coolie killing his wife. The head Was almost severed from the body, the spine was broken, there was a big gash three inches wide from the left lower jaw, which was broken, two deep scalp wounds, and several deep cut 3 on both arms. The murder is to haVe been perpetrated by a free coolie named Ben, arid the reason for the deed is said to be jealousy.
