CYCLING.

The record from Invercargill to Dunedin was successfully lowered yesterday by Mr H, P. Sanders, a member of the Dunedin Cycling Club, who, although ho found the Southland roads in indifferent order and had a head wind to compete with, completed his task in 10h 54min. The previous record (13h 30-imin) was made by E. R. Godward on 23rd October last, Sanders rode a Regal Raglan machine (Q3 gear), weighing 361b all on.
