Mr G. Turner finds himself in a difficulty with regard to the Labor party. Should he include one of the Labor members in his Cabinet he would risk his own re-election. It is expected that Mr T. Smith, who .sympathises with the Labor party without bcinjf actually allied to them, will receive a portfolio as a compromise. Mr Trenwith, the Labor leader, was oil'crcd the Chairmanship of Committees, but refused, contending that his party should be represented in the Cabinet, as it is iu the Reid Ministry at Sydney. dU.C'iived September 25, 1894, at 3 p.m.' The Patterson Government have resigned, and tho Governor has summoned Mr Turner (Leader of the Opposition) to form a new Ministry.
