SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

At the George street Committee's meeting last night (Mr Haynes presiding) the headmaster reported that the number on the roll was 860, with an average attendance of 704, sickness and bad weather having affected the school during the month. The head-master reported that sickness was still prevalent among the children. The school breaks up on Thursday morning.
