The weather having cleared, tho bowling tournament commenced at Auckland on Saturday with tho inter-club matches, with the following results :—New Plymouth (32) defeated Napier (25), Napier (IS) defeated Pulmerston (7), Wellington (21) defeated Wanganui (15), Napier (14) defeated Wellington (9), Palmerston (10) defeated New Plymouth (8), Auckland (73) defeated Napier (57), Auckland (43) defeated New Plymouth (38), Wellington (16) defeated Auckland (13), Auckland (24) defeated Wanganui (21), and Auckland (25), defeated Palmeraton North (IS). In the match North v. South, six rinka a side, the North was composed of bowlers from Auckland and New Plymouth; while the South were represented by players from Wellington, Wanganui, Napier, and Palmer.'ton. The North (166) defeated the South (91). Bowlers passing through from the Auckland tournament played a game at Gisborne on Saturday. Napier (IS) defeated Gisborne (17). In the match Wellington v.
