(Received May 4, 1892, at 10.30 a.m.) The present series of wool sales closed with competition spirited as compared with the January sales. Superior greasy and scoured sorts have beon at par to &d higher; lambc, cross breds, do } average greasy combings and inferior scoured, to Id higher. The prospects of higher prices at the next series are doubtful, as English buyers will not support higher values. At the series just closed foreign representatives were the largest buyers.
