VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
The Dunedin Naval Artillery fired the fourth of a series of handicap matojaas for prizes on Saturday afternoon. Condnions: Five shotffat 200, 300, and 500 yards (small inner). The shooting was fair at the short distances, but darkness setting in at 500 the last men had all the worst of it. Subjoined are the highest in each class: — First Claes.
* Range prizes, t Hatch prizes The Dunedin City Guards fired Che third competition of the Guards match on Saturday afternoon at Peliohet Bay. Ten shots at 200 and 600 yards. Conditions: Actual score in any two competitions to count for aggregate; the competitor making the highest aggregate in the three competitions (handicaps included) to receive prize presented by Vol. O. C. Harrison. The following are the principal scores:—
