The Cuairman, in moving the adoption of the report, said it was very pleasing indeed to see so much interest beiog taken in the proceedings of the club and suoh a good attendance. The result of the year, boiled down, was that they had a sum of LBOO as profit, which, considering everything, was fairly satisfactory. The autumn meeting was a very great success, and left a large profit, and all the meetings down to the November one showed a good profit, In the November meeting the totalisator tax had to be paid. Just prior to that meeting there was a |gala week in Christehnrch, and though the Jockey Club joined bands with the Agricultural Society, and succeeded in getting the people here, so that the attendance was large, the public did not put their hands in their pockets quite eo well as at the other meetings. However, they had to congratulate themselves on winding up the year with the sum of LBl2 to the good. They would see the amount lying at the credit in the bank from the balance-sheet for the purpose of purchasing the ground when funds warranted it, - In' concluding, he expressed 'hp wijlingne'sa to answer any questions.
