MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Minister for Mines arrived in town this morning. Yesterday he Inspeoted the Kaitangata and Castle Hill coal mines. Mr Qeddcn was asked to address a public meet*, ing at Kaitangata, and expressed his willingness to do so at an early date. The Postmaster-General arrived from thp South last Mfibfc, and attended at the Ministers' offices, Bond, street, Jo-day. Mr Ward returns to Inveroargill either to-morrow or on Monday. . The Minister for Lands leaves for Shag Point this afternoon. Mr M'&engie will probably be In Nelson for the jubilee of that provincial district. ; Nj deoision lias yet been come to as to who will be the Ministers in attendance at the various banqneta.to Hie Excellency the Governor, bnt the probabilities are that the Postmaster-General will attend . that at gonedin on" Saturday week; the .Minister of duoation' that at Chrutohurob, and the Premier and one or two of his colleagues that $ Wellington.
