There are at present fifteen vessels of from 3,000 to 7,000 tons, eight o£ 7,000 to 8,000 tons, six of 8,000 to 9,000 tonsy two of 9,000 to 10,000, and two exceeding 10,000 tons. ' The giants are the City of Paris and the City of New York, of 14,500. tons, and the Majestic and Teutonic, of 9,861 and 9,686 tons respectively, all four Liverpool steamers; the Fiirst Bismarck (German), of 8,874 tons, ani the Touroinc; (French), of 8,863 tons.
