Premier Dibbs considers that the associated colliers did not need to reduce the price of coal, and their object was not so much to increase the export trade as to drive non-associated mines out of the field. He thinks the men would be justified in offering resistance if the reduction affected their wages. The Central Executive of the Labor Electoral League hare called upon the labor members eleoted by the League to reunite and carry out the platform of the League. A conference betwren the Executiveandthe labor members will shortly be held. MELBOURNE, Jascary 7.
It is virtually settled that Premier Munro will take the Agent Generalship, Mr W. Shiels besoming Premier and Colorial Treasurer.
