Saturday, August 29. (Gefore Messrs D. Ferguson and S. Elborn, J.P.s.) Dbunkbnness. —A flr-t offender was convicted and disobarged; William Roach, who was creating a disturbance at the Choral Hall when arrested, was fined 20*, In default Beven days' Imprisonment; Kate Vincent was fined 20s, In default fourteen days' imprisonment; and Mary M'Calltm was sent to gaol for a month. Driving Without a Light. Alexander Lamb pleaded guilty to a charge of driving an express in Kensington on the evening of the 22nd Inst, without having a light attached to his vehicle —He was fined 5s and oosts (ss. TTnhbalthy Pbemibeb, John Tonkin Roberts, the agent for certain premises situate in Oanongate street, was charged with unlawfully failing to keep a water closet attaohed thereto so as not to be a nuisance.—After evidence had been given by Inspector Morrison, the defendant was fined sa, without oosts.
