North train at IJ a.ro. Friday, April 3. For Southland, Australian Colonies, India, China, Japan, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc.—Pet Te Auau, at 150 p.m. Money orders (for Australian Colonies only), registered letters, and newspapers at 12,50 p.m. Late letters, guard’s van, Fort Chalmers train, at 2.30 p.m. Parcel post mail for the Australian Colonies (except for New South Wales and Queensland) will close at 11.50 a m. DIRECT MAIL SERVICE. Friday, April 3. The contract steamer Coptic will leave Lyttelton for Plymouth via Rio de Janeiro on Saturday, April 4. Mails close here as under : For the United Kingdom and Foreign Oonntrles via the United Kingdom, etc,, at 10 a.m. on Friday, 3rd. Registered correspondence at 5 p.m. on Thursday, 2nd. Money orders at 4 p,m. on Thursday, 2nd. Book packets and newspapers at 9 a.m, on Friday, 3rd. Late letters bearing an additional single rate of postage as a late fee (2Jd) can be posted in the mail van attached to the North train leaving the Dunedin railway station at 11 a.m. on the 3rd. The above mall will close at the Branch Post Offices, Dunedin North and South Dunedin, for money orders at 4 p.m. and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 2nd ; letters at 9.30 a.m, and newspapers at 5 a.m. on the 3rd. At the Fort Chalmers Office at 5 a.m. on the 3rd, money orders at 4 p.m. and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 2nd. Parcels for the United Kingdom per Coptic will close at 9.30 a.m. The above mail will be duo in London on 16th May. Correspondence for the Continent of Europe and America and other places despatched by this route should bear tbe rate set forth In the table of rates of postage shown in 'Postal Guide,’ (Signed) Edward D.
