At the Hanover street Baptist Church last night Mr W. J. Sayce, of the Society of Friends, delivered an address, choosing for his text Colossians zi., 6 and 7. From the ‘Mercantile and Bankruptcy Gazette ’ we take the following amounts of estates of deceased persons on which stamp duty has been paid :—John Manson, "Wellington, L 7.064 5s 3d; James Garrick, Christchurch, L 102.599 5s 8d ; E. D. Doig, Dunedin, L 2,357 la 7d; William Ahem, Dunedin, L 5,368 7s fid.
