BLUESKIN SHOW.

The Blueskin Agricultural and Pastoral Society held their twenty-third annual show at Waitati yesterday. There was a large attendance. The entries were nearly as numerous as those of the previous year, and the show, taken altogether, was quite on a footing with its predecessor. The judging in some of the classes, especially in cattle, was very much complained about, and several exhibitors were loud in their talk that they would have nothing to do with subsequent shows. Disputes of this kind are fortunately very rare at country shows; but when they do arise they are kept up with great warmth of spirit. This was the case yesterday. The show of cattle was very good ; horses were numerous ; but pigs and poultry were not well represented, either in nnmber or quality. Dairy produce made a capital display, and the butter especially waa of an excellent description. Following is the prize-list:— CATTLE ATRSIIIKRB. Stewards: Messrs A. Campbell. J. Hanson, and J.
