AUCKLAND, July M. On Saturday afternoon a number of lads started a " hare and hounds" chase on the western suburbs. One of them as hound was a lad named Thomas Wilson, son of Mr Wilson, a shoemaker. The lads kept running and walking at short intervals for an hour and a-half. They had run up hill from Cotus Creek for a finish, when Wilson suddenly said "I am done" and fell senseless, all efforts to restore him proving fruitless.
