A great mice plague has appeared at Kapunda. Entire wheat stacks have been demolished and many farmers have captured as many as 6,000 of the pest in a week. A CENSURABLE PROCEEDING. BRISBANE, July 14. On Saturday the local branches of the Orange societies made a demonstration and paraded the streets, accompanied by large crowds. There was a strong body of police patrolling the city. The procession was saluted at various points with a good deal of hissing, but no disturbance took place.
