Ten thousand of the North Wales colliers have resumed work on the old terms.

There is an impression afloat that the Committee appointed to inquire into the question of trustees being allowed to invest in colonial stocks propose that trustees be allowed to invest in any stock paying not more than 1 per cent, above consols. It is understood that Mr Goschen prefers to leave the matter to the rule of the Court, but the Committee prefer the passing of a Bill dealing with the matter.
