With each lamp instructions aresent, and if thoso are fully attended to, there is no possible fear of danger. As a recommendation, it may be mentioned that his Excellency Lord Carringtnn, tho Governor of Now South Wales, uses the oil that generates the gas in his carriage lamps, and finds it givej every satisfaction.
