THE RINKS.

The City Hall Skating Kink continues to be well patronised, especially in the evenings, A noticeable improvement has been effected in the surface of the floor, and fancy skating is nightly indulged in by a large number of the more proficient skaters. The early morning sessions for the benefit of beginners are also well patronised, and, under the supervision of the instructors, novices make rapid strides in the art of skating. Several novelties are in course of preparation. The Palace Skating Rink is to be reopened on Monday evening, and as this popular place of amusement has been thoroughly renovated, and in some portions altered, a large number of the skating public will doubtless patronise the rink. The proprietor (Mr R. H. Donnolly) has secured the services of the Engineers’ Band for the season, and has engaged a large number of instructors and assistants.
