J. A. Kirby v. John Loughlin.—Claim, L 6 Bs, on a judgment summons.—The defendant did not appear, and it was stated that he had gone up-country with the racehorse La Ro>e, of which he was part owner, having purchased it for L2OO since judgment was given.—His Worship made an order for payment of the amount (with costs) by the 24th inst., in default fourteen days' imprisonment. Stout, Mondy, and Co. v. Edwin Gough (Kaikorai Valley).—Claim, Ll2 15s, for money lent, aud interest heard case His Worship said that he was now satisfied as to the service of tho summons, and judgment would accordingly ba given for the amount claimed, with costs.
